Gavin Welch, the owner and founder of Welch Contracting in North Carolina, needed a brand identity to help him stand out and catch the eye of potential clients. He is a young contractor but with lots of experience, however he wanted a brand that felt more mature and trustworthy to communicate with clients that he was just that. The green and argyle were "must haves" that Gavin wanted in his brand since they were a part of the culture that he serves. Green with the abundance of forest and lumber NC is known for and the argyle pattern made famous by the Tar Heels, a beloved NC college team.
